Brief note on STCBL Bhutan

Retail SBU has commissioned the first ever HPCL branded retail outlet in our neighboring country Bhutan on 11th March 2020 at Thimphu, under the aegis of their premier organization M/s State Trading Corporation of Bhutan Limited (STCBL). This is indeed a momentous occasion for Retail SBU, as our efforts to spread our retail network into foreign markets has now fructified, with the development and commissioning of this state of the art retail outlet which will serve the citizens of our friendly neighbor and the country’s visitors.

State Trading Corporation of Bhutan Limited (STCBL) is mandated to market petroleum products and set up Retail Outlets within Bhutan. Our Retail SBU has meticulously planned and executed steps, which are required for creating a durable and robust business arrangement with the foreign organization, i.e STCBL. An important aspect in this regard is that STCBL is committed to sourcing their entire MS & HSD product requirements exclusively from HPCL. HPCL will assist STCBL for development of their network numbering 22 Retail Outlets in Bhutan.  Out of which 11 locations are finalized, which are in different stages of execution. Namely, these locations are Bumthang, Yadi, Chukha, Taba, Phuentsholing, Nganglam, Gasa, Samtse, Trashi Yangtse, Trashi Gang & Zhemgang.

HPCL’s Brand is now on display in the international retail market, and it will act as beacon for building our retail presence in many other countries in the coming days. Few photographs of this premium Outlet in foreign soil are as below.
