Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Sweeps Top Honors at Prestigious FIPI Oil and Gas Awards 2023

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Maharatna Oil & Gas PSU, has emerged as a leader in the Oil and Gas industry, bagging three prestigious awards at the FIPI Oil and Gas Awards 2023. These awards are a testament to HPCL's unwavering commitment to innovation, sustainability, and leadership.

The Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), the apex society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector, presented the awards. FIPI acts as an industry interface with the Government and regulatory authorities, supporting the Government in resolving issues and evolving policies and regulations. The FIPI Oil and Gas Awards have been created to recognise the leaders, innovators and pioneers in the Oil and Gas industry. The objective of the FIPI Oil & Gas Awards is to celebrate the industry's most outstanding achievements.

HPCL received the following awards:

• Sustainably Growing Corporate of the Year: This award acknowledges HPCL's dedication to sustainability and its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices in the energy sector. The award was received by Shri S Bharathan, Director Refineries.
• Innovator of the Year (Team): This award recognizes HPCL's commitment to innovation and its efforts to develop new and innovative solutions in the energy sector. The award was received by Shri Vipul K Maheshwari, ED-R&D on behalf of Team HP Green R&D Centre.
• Women Executive of the Year: This award recognizes the outstanding contributions of HPCL's women executives to the organization and the energy sector. Ms. Rachana Ray, General Manager - Retail Engineering, West Zone won this prestigious award.

The awards were presented by Hon'ble Union Minister, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, in the distinguished presence of Hon'ble MoS, Petroleum & Natural Gas and Tourism, Shri Suresh Gopi, Secretary MoPNG, Shri Pankaj Jain, and esteemed leaders from the Oil & Gas industry.
