The CSR projects are well established and are in sync & seek inspiration from issues of national importance and Government of India policies like National Health Mission, National Skill Development Mission, Clean India Movement, ‘Transformation of Aspirational Districts’ program and other policies on rural/community development.
HPCL supports projects that create empowered individuals and communities through sustainable social and economic development. Our Initiatives are broadly classified under Focus Areas: Child-Care, Education, Healthcare, Skill Development, Environment & Community Development and Sports. The initiatives have further strengthened the image of the corporation as a socially responsible Corporate Citizen. Corporation has been very successful in bringing positive changes in the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized section of society such as children with special needs, Girl Child from tribal areas, Long-distance truckers, Socially-disadvantaged groups, unemployed & women etc.
Objectives Providing inclusive education, state of art therapies and vocational training to special children and young adults in an enabling and inclusive environment to help them realize their potential.
Objectives - To ignite and inculcate scientific spirit in the young minds by providing hands-on and practical science education among the new generation learners from less advantaged communities.
Objectives - The objective of the project is to enhance the literacy rate by reducing dropouts and ensure better nutritional standards among children from weaker sections by providing hot and nutritional mid-day meals to students in government schools.
Objectives - To meet the basic medical needs of people residing in remote areas and urban slums with the help of Mobile Medical Vans (MMV) that can reach the doorsteps of the people who need them.
Objectives - The project aims to fund heart surgeries for less privileged people, with a special focus on children.
Objectives - The main objective of the project is to achieve gender equality through quality education of girl children by supporting the education of girls belonging to less privileged primarily first-generation learners.
Objectives - To prevent HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections amongst trucker communities through awareness programs and Khushi Clinics that provide treatment and other facilities for the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
Objectives - The project aims to provide training for capacity building / skill development to the needy and potential candidates in order to create a pool of good quality professionals in various trades and services and to enable them to earn livelihood for themselves and support their family.
Objectives - The project aims to provide computer training to the economically, socially and educationally less-privileged students and to provide a platform to the beneficiaries to build their future through exposure to digital literacy. Under this project, teachers are trained to ensure the sustainability of learning once the project gets over.
HPCL supported Skill India Mission by making a contribution towards establishment of Skill Development.
Project Kashmir Super-30 (Medical) provided mentoring and coaching to talented students from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh regions.
HPCL supported Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to provide clean cooking fuel solution to women from the poor.
HPCL has contributed towards the national cause of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by developing sanitation infrastructure at various public places and sensitizing communities on the importance of cleanliness,
Our CSR endeavours in the thematic areas of School Education, Nutrition and Healthcare have contributed to the availability/up-gradation of basic school and college infrastructure / medical care..
HPCL has been conferred with the first National CSR Awards by the Government of India in the category ‘Contribution to National Priority Areas: Education’ for project Nanhi Kali and Honourable Mention in the category ‘Contribution to National Priority Areas: Support to Differently Abled’ for project ADAPT.
The National CSR Awards have been conceived as an official recognition at the highest level of the outstanding contribution made by corporates by way of CSR activities in the areas of Education, Health, gender equality, Skill Development etc. by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
