Systemic Improvements for Talent Acquisition

A revamped HPCL application was built to be a one-stop-shop for all applicant related updates and needs at any stage of the recruitment process. The new application was launched with the Open advertisement on 3rd March 2021 (after a period of 15 years) and has already processed over 100000 applications. It has upgraded features like:

  • Enhanced visual appeal
  • Application is Mobile, iPads and Desktops responsive with new UI/UX standards
  • New Payment options through Bhim, UPI
  • Enhanced Security with Non OCR – Captcha during registration / application.
  • Email id/ validation through OTP & Aadhar number validation
  • Options to save and edit application before submission
  • Multiple tabs like Personal details, contact details, qualification with checks & validations in each tab
  • Application Process flow summary of application, status updates, payment, feedback and steps ahead for better transparency

Through the CRM system, applicants can raise queries, suggestions, appreciations. Each query, suggestion is recorded and the applicant is given a unique query code. Through the query management system, responses are given by Talent Acquisition team to the applicants, where in they can login and view the responses.

A first of its kind digitalized Reservation Rosters, Quarterly Performance Report and PwBD Roster. Maintenance of reservation rosters and QPR reports is a practice which is decades old. 4. PRATIBIMB Pratibimb meaning ‘Reflection’ is a multi-stakeholder feedback platform launched to understand the pulse of our stakeholders (candidates, panelists, HR, etc.) for all the recruitment stages. The ultimate aim of this portal is to create a seamless well-knitted ecosystem using data driven and participative strategies that will guide and shape the future of Recruitment department.
